Report Claims Spurs Are In Pole Position For 22 Goal Highly Rated Dane

|

One of the more regular rumours for Tottenham Hotspur around the time of the January transfer window was a reported interest in right sided attacker Robert Skov and the rumour mill now has us linked with another talented Dane, Andreas Skov Olsen.

Whilst Robert would continue to be a sensible gamble in my mind given his goal scoring return, it seems 19-year-old Olsen might be another worthy gamble as the player returned 22 goals and five assists for FC Nordsjaelland in 2018/19 and according to Il Corriere de Bologna Spurs are now keeping tabs on him along with a few other sides – Everton and Serie A side Bologna are namechecked.

A fee of around 10million Euros is mentioned as being necessary to get a deal done but the report does put Spurs in pole position for his capture – especially as he only has 12 months left on his contract apparently.

Stats wise he looks like a decent gamble at that price but he’s very much development potential for the future really. He does seem like the kind of player manager Mauricio Pochettino likes to work with though, so who knows.
