Report Claims AC Milan Talks Are “Advanced” Over Spurs Defender, But No Deal Yet Agreed

|

The future of Tottenham Hotspur right back Serge Aurier has been a pretty regular debate during the summer transfer window and with the European window not closing until September, the speculation isn’t going anywhere soon and having been recently linked with a possible move back to former club Paris Saint-Germain, the AC Milan element of the rumours have gained fresh traction this week.

French outlet Soccerlink have claimed that negotiations with the Italian side are the most ‘advanced’ at this stage but it appears that they suggest no fee has yet been agreed between the clubs.

Whether a permanent deal or a loan to buy, with manager Mauricio Pochettino giving youngster Kyle Walker-Peters his opportunity to make the spot more his own this year, whilst there will be those fans who feel Aurier should be kept as backup given his greater experience, there will certainly be other fans who would welcome a move to go through.

As ever, when it comes to transfer speculation, we just have to see what happens.
