Report: £24.3m-rated Tottenham duo offered to European club for ‘potential ideas’ in the summer

Tottenham have reportedly offered AC Milan squad Juan Foyth and Victor Wanyama as both players look likely to leave Spurs in the summer transfer window.

According to CalcioMercato, Tottenham and Milan are ‘looking for potential ideas and opportunities’ with one another in the upcoming summer transfer window, with Spurs proposing the two players to the Serie A club. Yet the Italian giants are not too keen on Foyth and Wanyama.

With a combined Transfermarkt valuation of £24.5m, the two Spurs players are expected to leave the club come the end of this season with the pair hardly featuring for Jose Mourinho’s side this campaign as stats from Transfermarkt show, with Foyth and Wanyama both being touted as potential departures in last month’s January transfer window as reported by The Athletic and The Daily Record respectively.

Does Juan Foyth have a future at Tottenham?

Yes

No

This isn’t the first time the duo have been offered to Milan, though, with The Daily Mail reporting that Foyth and Wanyama, as well as Erik Lamela, were both put forward to the Milanese club in Tottenham’s attempts to sign Krzysztof Piatek, with the Polish international instead opting to join Hertha Berlin.

It is seemingly clear that Mourinho is eager to ship off deadwood at Tottenham ahead of the summer transfer window, with the Portuguese manager having big plans for the club as reported by The Express, and moving on Foyth and Wanyama would be a smart bit of business from the Spurs manager.

The duo have hardly featured for Tottenham this season and have both been previously reported this season with moves away from the club, and although Milan doesn’t seem to keen on the Spurs pair, it could be a sign that Mourinho might be willing to flop the players off for cheap.
