Tottenham’s 1-1 draw against Sheffield United at home on Saturday was a massive disappointment. However, the Lilywhites did get some good news over the weekend, as The Mirror has reported that the club are interested in signing for Manchester United attacker Memphis Depay.

The Dutch international has been the shining light of Ligue 1 side Lyon’s season so far. The French club have scored 20 goals so far this season in the French top flight, and of those goals, eight have been either scored or assisted by Depay (Transfermarkt), as he’s led the line for the seven-time Ligue 1 champions.
When Depay last played in England, though, things didn’t go to plan. He signed for Manchester United from PSV for £31m (BBC), although he failed to live up to the hype, managing a paltry seven goals in 51 games for the Red Devils. Since then, though, his numbers have been sublime as he’s bagged 50 in 142 for Lyon (Transfermarkt), and links back to England are hardly surprising.
Should Tottenham sign Memphis Depay?
Yes! He's class!
No! Man United flop!

The fans seem delighted with the links to Depay and, hopefully, Daniel Levy can secure the Dutchman’s signing in January.
