One bit of business so far this summer for Tottenham Hotspur saw Academy graduate Luke Amos head out for a season-long loan spell with Queens Park Rangers.
“Great Loan For Him” – These Spurs Fans Are Pleased With Sensible Loan Decision For Young Talent
The 22-year-old continues to be highly rated at the club and many felt that the 2018/19 campaign might be his breakthrough year given his involvement across pre-season and manager Mauricio Pochettino did give him his Premier League bow last August in the game against St James’ Park, but with him picking up an Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury in September, it brought his season to an early close.
With him looking to get back on track now and play catch up, many felt the loan was perfect for him to boost his game time and experience further and Amos is clearly making the most of the opportunity he now has, and in their recent friendly with Oxford United at the Kassam Stadium, he scored two headers in two minutes.
It wasn’t just to the delight of QPR fans either, quite a few Spurs fans were delighted with his start to life at the club.

Should we pretend we bought Luke Amos for £10m and sent him back on loan to QPR ????

Amos and Ball owned the middle of the park for #QPR. They are going to be a nice duo. And I love to see Amos with a nose for the goal too. Watching the @QPR stream was a morning well-spent.
