It`s hard to dispute the media`s opinion that Poch has done pretty much everything right since he moved to North London.

Clearing out the deadwood, bringing the average age of the squad down, whilst placing a heavy emphasis on building homegrown players. The club are finally challenging for titles – something I never thought I would ever see in my lifetime.

It`s not hyperbole when we say that he`s one of the best in Europe – the results simply speak for themselves.

However, whilst Mauricio hits far more often that he misses, there have been some questionable transfers over the last few years – with Fazio, Stambouli and Janssen springing to mind – but are any of them as bad as Fernando Llorente?

When he moved from Swansea, I think it is fair to say the majority were happy? The 32-year-old bagged 15 goals last season and we all thought we had signed a proven Premier League striker. His spell in north London has been something of a car-crash in truth and once again fails to take any goal scoring pressure off Harry Kane.

After our heroics in Turin on Tuesday night, you`d imagine that Pochettino will look to change things up against Rochdale, meaning that it is likely the Spaniard will get another chance to show what he can do. However, if he fluffs his lines once again, I wouldn`t mind betting that he may have played one of his last games for Spurs.

Two goals all season long speaks for itself and the gaffers` patience must be wearing thin – as it has with us supporters.
