Most Tottenham Hotspur fans will be aware that we have a certain Maurizio Pochettino in our youth ranks and the young lad has now put pen to paper on his first professional deal at the club having turned 18-year’s old last March.

With preparations continuing for the coming 2019/20 Premier League campaign, Mauricio Pochettino took a little bit of time out this week to pose with his lad as he penned the deal and many will think that ultimately answers questions about where Pochettino senior sees his more immediate future.

Having had a reasonable year for our Under 18 side last season where the winger chipped in with three goals, he also had an introduction to the Under 23 setup and making the full step up to that level next season will undoubtedly be his aim as he chases down the potential of actually appearing in the first team and playing for his dad – we’ll just have to see how he continues to develop as a youngster.
