Another depressing afternoon for us Spurs fans, a number of dismal performances on the pitch – this is how the players ranked.

I genuinely cannot remember the last time I enjoyed watching Spurs. A do believe we can win something under Conte but the football currently on display is god awful
Hugo Lloris- 4
I don’t think I’m overreacting, but I think it’s time for change between the sticks. Too many mistakes that are costing the side points.
Emerson Royal- 5
Final ball totally lacking, don’t know how many times I’ve said that now. Doherty or Spence should be playing.
Davinson Sanchez- 4
The Colombian just isn’t good enough for where Spurs want to be. Need Romero back ASAP
Eric Dier- 4
Another poor performance from the centre half. He needs to get back to the levels that we saw at the start of the season.
Clement Lenglet- 5
Looked slow and flat footed, terrible defending for the second goal. Looks very poor when is defending 1 v 1.
Ryan Sessegnon- 5
Rough night for Sess, his delivery was awful all afternoon.
Yves Bissouma- 5
Started the game well, but like the Manchester United game midweek, he went missing in the second half.
Oliver Skipp- 6
Good return from Skippy, although I think the youngster would have been better playing in front of the back three.
Rodrigo Bentancur- 6
Provided good energy and pressing in the absence of Hojbjerg – but final ball was lacking.
Heung-min Son- 5
Similar to Bissouma in the fact he started well but failed to impact the game in the second half
Harry Kane- 6
Another goal for the England skipper but I genuinely feel for Harry playing in this side, he deserves so much better.

The half hour after our goal was one of the most appalling, clueless displays I have seen for some time. Newcastle we’re so superior to us. They look like a team who were playing for their manager and who were properly coached. Despite Conte’s reputation we played like an un-coached bunch of headless chickens. Conte’s days are already numbered. He will no doubt already be looking for a way out. Here we go again – rinse and repeat.
Conte, hopefully, will be off to Italy very soon.
Shocking, inept display of backward passing and dreadful goalkeeping. Why is Lloris captain? He says nothing and is a bad example.
Why no Spence and Harvey White yet again? Totally demoralised subs because of the pathetic Conte. Get rid now. Total waste of space and ruining our style of play.
Conte won a lot of things in the past. Has the game simply passed him by? Why do I keep reading that DL is desperate to keep him?

Give Conte a go. Go far far away.Now that we know he is a sentence to boring football without the benefit of winning football. Boring without winning adds up to very little, especially from a man who is self declared as “I am not stupid.”
