Portugese websites are today reporting that out of favour Spurs midfielder Pedro Mendes is contemplating a move back to Porto when the transfer window opens in January.
Mendes was part of the Champions league winning side under Mourinho and a potential move back to his homeland would surely be an attractive proposition for the player.
Celtic are also known to have expressed an interest in the player.
Mendes will be best remembered at Spurs for his goal that never was against Manchester United at Old Trafford last season.
