Opinion: Standout Tottenham man proved he has yet another string to his bow with incredible display

|

Tottenham fans, we know that you’re already aware of how impressive Harry Kane can be, even when he’s not scoring, he makes a massive difference to who he plays for going forward, this time showing just how amazing he can be as a provider as well as a finisher.

The 26-year-old may have just one assist in the Premier League this season, but that doesn’t show the true picture of how incredible Kane is when it comes to setting up his teammates and laying on chances for those around him.

In the Premier League this season, the creative output from Kane hasn’t quite been the same, but that doesn’t mean it still hasn’t been impressive. So far in his eight appearances, the England skipper has been averaging 0.8 key passes per game, via WhoScored.

That one assist that Kane has managed in the league this season is his 29th as a player for Tottenham, and whilst that might not sound like a lot, as of late the striker has started to improve the rate at which he’s setting goals up, whilst also keeping up his goalscoring rate too.

The range of passes that Kane has in his locker is simply incredible, and whilst the Lilywhites are no strangers to seeing the 26-year-old spray a pass out to the waiting right-back from a deep position on the left, it’s becoming more and more well known how amazing the striker is at picking out his man.

Whether or not the Lilywhites’ rival fans will be as quick to praise Kane for his performance against Bulgaria and ability to lay on a goal with the same class and quality that he can score one is yet to be seen. However, the Spurs fans know what their man can do, and will be desperate to see him show what he can do yet again this weekend against Watford.
