Holy Cow – Changes For Spurs Guaranteed For Inter Milan Starting XI

|

With Mauricio Pochettino confirming that goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and Dele Alli would continue to be missing for Tottenham Hotspur ahead of tonight’s Champions League clash with Inter Milan at the San Siro, I would think after the Liverpool showing there would be at least one guaranteed change.

With midfielder Victor Wanyama making a seven-minute appearance in the 2-1 defeat to Jurgen Klopp’s side at the weekend, I can actually see him coming in for the opening hour, if not longer if his fitness holds out, as Poch looks for a stronger midfield pairing against the Italian Serie A side.

Vorm,
Aurier, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Rose,
Wanyama, Dembele,
Lamela, Eriksen, Moura,
Kane.

We could see a few other changes as the gaffer looks to shake things up after the weekend’s defeat as well and I think that definitely means Eric Dier will drop out, as will Harry Winks as I presume with his ankle issues, two games with this little turn around in time would be frowned upon.

Poch left Toby Alderweireld and Kieran Trippier out of the travelling squad for ‘technical reasons’ and the presser interviews also included an apparent reference to asking a cow about when a train arrives – Click Here.

It was all very confusing at this time of morning.

Having scored on Saturday I’d expect Erik Lamela to keep his place, with Son Heung-min saved for the second half.

Whilst it won’t be an easy game by any stretch of the imagination, ideally, we’d want to be somewhat comfortable at the halftime break as despite his words I’m sure Poch could be tempted into giving Kane 45 minutes off so he was fresher going into the next league clash.
