Tottenham supporters all over the world will today be saying a very emotional goodbye. The Lilywhites have enjoyed the footballing brilliance of Christian Eriksen for seven years, and it has now come to an end as the Danish midfielder has left for pastures new in Milan.
Thank you for the memories, @ChrisEriksen8.

The news was announced earlier today, and whilst the fans will be taking a while to get over this one, and as some fans have been pleased to see Eriksen’s exit given his performances this season, most fans are gutted to see that he’s gone and will remember the good times.
The good news is that Giovani Lo Celso has been signed permanently at the same time as Eriksen’s left, but given the memories that Eriksen has helped create for the fans, his exit was always going to be hard-hitting.
You can read the Lilywhites’ thoughts on Eriksen here:
It really does feel like an end of an era. Mousa left, Poch is gone and now Christian.

This man gave almost 7 years to this club and some of my favourite memories as a Tottenham fan, disappointing how it ended but I genuinely wish him all the best at Inter I hope he can win something there

The club will be worse off without you Christian. You have been the beating heart of our midfield. pic.twitter.com/wrH8kdXkf8

Sad to see him leave. Great player for the club. Always a Spurs favourite. We will welcome you back in 2021 when you realise you miss the Spurs fans/club too much

The Lilywhites have got a lot of time for Eriksen and they’ll no doubt be keeping a keen eye on the Dane’s progress.
