Jose Mourinho’s first home game in charge of Tottenham ended in a 4-2 victory over visiting Olympiakos, but things weren’t smooth for Spurs last night.
Two early goals from the visitors shocked Spurs in the first 20 minutes, but Mourinho’s side responded well with Dele Alli pulling one back just before half time.
Two goals from Harry Kane and an excellent volley from Serge Aurier secured all three points for last year’s Champions League finalists and confirmed their qualification to the last 16 of the competition.
These Spurs fans were delighted with the comeback and took to social media after the game to share their thoughts on a rollercoaster display.

Whoop whoop! The biggest thing was that the boys came from 2-0 down which recently would have been a worry. Not tonight…amazing comeback and Eriksson’s back ????

Some fans were quick to heap praise on their new manager and they believed his impact provided the turning point for the Spurs’ fightback last night.
Think we can all agree Poch wouldn’t have made the changes that José made today!

Started with 4-3-3. Subbed his holding mid at 2-0 down to bring in a playmaker only to play a diamond, while subbed a winger at 2-2 to bring a B2B midfielder to play a 4-4-2 to protect his full backs and then went on to win 4-2. This is why he gets the job. #Josemourinho #Tactics

The result certainly pleased Spurs fans last night, even if they were taken aback by the two early Olympiakos goals. Fans seem to be extremely excited about Mourinho’s impact on the team in such a short period and all associated with the club seem incredibly positive about the new era under the Portugues manager.
