Italian TV station Sport Italia are reporting that AC Milan have joined Inter and Juventus in pursuing Mousa Dembele.
The Belgian international’s contract expires in 2019 and his agent has recently stated that he won’t be signing a new deal, at least until after the World Cup.
The Rossoneri’s interest sparked some talk on Twitter among supporters:

He's quality. Gutted that he might be leaving but he's not exactly young if we get a younger player with better potential then I can't complain too much.

Verdict:
With Milan only in the Europa League next season, it would certainly be a step down for our no.19 if he were to make the switch to the San Siro.
The 30-year-old may be holding out for a higher salary, as well as a longer contract, and this could be the reason why there has been very little progress on a renewal.
Sport Italia‘s main transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla also reported an “exclusive” on his own website a couple of days ago that Dembele is not the only midfielder Milan are after, and that we are “reluctant” to let the Belgian leave despite no new deal being agreed.
