In one of the transfer windows strangest late twists, Manchester United are being linked with a move for Fernando Llorente. Yes, you read that correctly, now let it sink in.

The Spanish striker has been rumoured to be a Manchester United target by Gianluca DiMarzio, and the Lilywhites really do not want to see it happen.
At the age of 34-years-old, Llorente would do little to improve United and would likely hinder more than help, but that hasn’t stopped the Lilywhites calling for this one to be cancelled, as they have strong feelings for the beanpole striker.

The Lilywhites have a strange desperation for Llorente not to sign for Manchester United, although he would almost certainly be a downgrade for the Old Trafford club.
