Tottenham Hotspur decided to show some appreciation to Moussa Sissoko with a tweet on Tuesday, however, fans appeared to use it as an opportunity to call for them to sign Tanguy Ndombele once again.

Spurs have been heavily linked with a move for the Olympique de Lyonnais midfielder over the past few weeks, however, it would seem we are some distance from paying the transfer fee that the French outfit want for their star (Sky Sports).

If it were not obvious that a number of our supporters wanted to see him in north London next season already, they certainly went some way into making their views on what he would offer us crystal clear by partnering him up with Sissoko.

Our own Frenchman has been a revelation this season, having produced a remarkable turnaround in form during the second half of the 2018/19 Premier League campaign. His performances left many of us surprised and in awe each week as the 29-year-old appeared to go from strength-to-strength.

And, it would seem many of our fans would love to see the pair in action together in the middle of the pitch.

Hijacking the appreciation tweet the club sent out on their official Twitter page, a huge number of supporters called for Ndombele’s signature and wanted the club to just imagine the rewards that a partnership between the duo could bring. Here are just some of their reactions…
