“Never wanted him to go”, “Pure class” – Plenty of Spurs fans want “king” to return

Responding to interview footage of ex-Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino courtesy of BT Sport, plenty of Tottenham supporters have been waxing lyrical over our former manager on social media – with many of them claiming they want the ‘king‘ to return. 

Pochettino, who guided us to a Champions League final last season, narrowly missing out to Liverpool in Madrid, was sacked in November 2019 after five years at the Spurs helm – eventually leading to current manager Jose Mourinho’s appoint.

The Argentine has debatably played a key role in transforming our squad over the last few seasons, with the 48-year-old now hinting he would definitely be open to the possibility of a return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Indeed, judging by our fanbase’s reaction his BT Sport interview, it appears many supporters would love to have him back – describing the ex-gaffer as ‘pure class‘.

Omg. I love this man and his team. I have always loved Spurs, but I never felt closer to it than when he was in charge. You just sensed what the club meant to him, and this just cements that. Oh Levy! Why didn’t you just back him!!
