“Never Going To Be Good Enough” – Time For Spurs To Cut Their Losses On Duo?

|

Once highly rated Tottenham Hotspur duo Cameron Carter-Vickers and Josh Onomah aren’t having the best of loan spells away from the club in the campaign of 2018/19 with Swansea City and Sheffield Wednesday respectively.

The latest speculation on the rumour mill surrounding Carter-Vickers is that Swansea City are now in talks with Spurs to cut short his loan spell at the Liberty Stadium as the 20-year-old American hasn’t really impressed and has only seen game time from four starts and four substitute appearances following his arrival.

21-year-old Onomah hasn’t had a much better time of it at Hillsborough, making seven starts and two substitute appearances but he was absolutely hammered by their manager after the last match according to our friends at Vital Wednesday. It’s fair to say, from a quick scout a number of their fans have been reasonably happy with him though.

Focusing a touch more on CCV, he’s now being linked with a potential move to Ipswich Town as an alternative for the second half of the year but both players need to see their fortunes change if their time with us isn’t going to be over given the others we have coming through the ranks now.
