Tottenham fans have got a lot of talented young players on their books at the moment, and one of those who is being touted as one of the brightest on their books is young Troy Parrott, the Irish international striker. He hasn’t really made his mark for Spurs yet, but the club are ready to offer him a new deal.
[@FootyInsider247] | Tottenham Hotspur have opened negotiations with Troy Parrott over a new contract.
He has scored prolifically for club and country at youth-team level including U23’s, but there’s a strong sense he has outgrown that level.#THFC #COYSpic.twitter.com/I2Udfw4XYn

Whether or not a new deal would also bring more first-team chances is yet to be seen, and it must be said that the goalscorer is just 17-years-old, but if you’re good enough then you’re old enough and it looks very much like the academy man is good enough.
That’s where the news has come in from Football Insider that Mauricio Pochettino has given the green light for Parrott to sign a new contract after the player has outgrown the age group football that he’s been playing over the last two seasons for both club and country.
Does Parrott Deserve A New Deal Now?
