MotM For Spurs Is Obvious After PSV But These Two Stood Out For All The Right Reasons

|

Tuesday evening saw Tottenham Hotspur picked up the must win victory over PSV Eindhoven to keep small hopes of a Champions League dream alive.

It looked like it would be one of those nights for Mauricio Pochettino’s side as the visitors took the lead two minutes into the match, but we utterly dominated the affair in reality and with 30 odd efforts overall, England striker Harry Kane helped himself to a late brace (some outlets credit an own goal) and we took the win and the points.

With the goals, WhoScored were always going to put Kane top ofthe pile, but I found the top five more interesting.

Harry Winks (8.07), Lucas Moura (7.74), Ben Davies (7.46) and Dele Alli (7.42) completed that set. Paulo Gazzaniga took sixth spot.

Winks with a massive 104 touches on the day, seven key passes and just a couple of decimal points off 90% pass accuracy is worthy of a mention, as was often maligned Davies who grabbed an assist, had four shots, four key passes and 110 touches on the day.

A night of frustration but one that ended in the right way.
