With Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha being previously linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, it was probably only a matter of time before the 27-year-old was again linked with a White Hart Lane switch.
The Mirror have reported this week that the Ivory Coast international has now changed his agent with the hope of leaving Selhurst Park and said agent is trying to get a deal in place with us.
With heavy speculation last summer, and strong links to Everton, ultimately nobody paid the reported £80million fee that Palace were holding out for and given the length that remains on his contract – let alone his importance to their survival – there’s nothing to really suggest their valuation has changed, so this seems like a complete non-starter again to me.
In any event, it set some tongues wagging on social media with the rumours returning and it seems fans are more mixed than ever given the apparent dip in his performance levels this season.
