It was always expected to be a slightly busy summer for Tottenham Hotspur given manager Mauricio Pochettino’s words about wanting a new plan for the club and for the first team squad to now match the quality of the stadium and the rumour mill has been in full flow when it comes to incoming links – but as the week came to a close we started to get firmer departure news and youngster Luke Amos features.
With the 22-year-old midfielder making his substitute debut for Spurs last season, he previously took in a half-season loan spell with Southend in the second half of the 2016/17 campaign where he got a couple of games under his belt, but another half season loan out with Stevenage saw him hit the ground running in 2017/18 where he featured 16 times, returning two goals. Last season he was hit by injury and plenty feel that held his development back as it looked like this would be his year under Poch.
A report from Football London has now claimed that Queens Park Rangers are interested in taking the lad for the coming season and plenty of fans see the sense in that as he looks to kick on again, it seems QPR fans are quite excited at the prospect as well.
Cracking coach of a manager in Mark Warburton too.
He may not be the last to go there for the season.

Amos going to QPR is a good move. Was unfortunate he got injured as he’d have probably got a lot of minutes last season.

Lumley/Kelly
Furlong Leistner Barbet Wallace
Smith Amos
Oteh/Smyth Eze Chair
????Decent starting 11 if we can get a striker. Got Scow/manning as midfield competition, if chair steps up we'll be dangerous

And before you snowflakes get offended, I’m not saying they’re better players than Adel. They’re completely different players, I’m just saying they’re high level loans & we haven’t had loans of this calibre since Adel… #QPR.

Luke Amos would be the most technically gifted DM in the Championship, HTH.

Very good player, injury set him back last season, had just broken into the first team set up, was on the bench for our first game of the season
