It appears Spurs have the option to sign Egyptian striker Mido for 4.5million Euros when his current loan deal runs out. Mido signed in the January transfer window on a two year deal from Roma. The contract reportedly contains an option to sign and Mido believes the club might take that option and bring him to the club on a permanent basis.
Mido said: ‘Tottenham want to sign me permanently , Martin Jol is willing to make an over to Roma. I can sign permanently for Spurs as I have a clause in my contract which gives Tottenham the right to sign me on a permanent basis for a fee worth 4.5million euros.’
Now that is what I call a loan deal. Talk about try before you buy!
