Match Thread – Will Spurs Be Firing Pellets at RZ WAC

|

With a short break in the fixture list for Tottenham Hotspur, there was at least a chance for some rest and relaxation for the players after the expected defeat to Manchester City last weekend but this midweek we face a different challenge as it’s back to Europa League action as we travel to Budapest to face Austria Bundesliga side RZ Pellets WAC.

Also known as Wolfsberger AC at their Puskas Arena.

Now I can confidently say what I know about this side could probably fit on the side of a postage stamp, but in some better news, we continue to only have three out on the injury list. Giovani Lo Celso has long been ruled out, and manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed there will be no return for Sergio Reguilon either as he hasn’t travelled. He also revealed that he now expects Serge Aurier to be out for longer.

So let’s see what Thursday evening brings and then we can start thinking about the bubble blowers and hopefully getting ourselves back on track after our recent woeful Premier League form.

Yes Allan. Such a shame Levy was too tight to snap up Grealish. He would have made a massive difference to our current squad and teamed up with Sonny, Dele and Harry with Hoj winning the balls in midfield.

Well we won, that’s all that can be asked, beat who ever the opposition is that is, put in front of you, cannot ask any more, but no a melodrama has to be made of it by some.

Yes it was a great 1st half and not so great 2nd, it was obvious Bale n Son would be removed, rest and all that, the problem I got was that Sid Vicious came on to replace Son, Sid is not a HK type of striker, he is a pure n simple, box, poacher, target man, his strengths, did we play to them? did we eff! so no plan B, he is as someone else said a Clive Allen type striker, now there was a poacher, with a striker of Sids calibre you get the ball into to box, maybe some feel Sid has no real skill, but he has a natural instinct of where the goal is, thus reactions, so feed him, long/short as I said prior we had no plan B, change our style to suit, simple as that.

Bring on Wham and their seasonal Cup Final at the Council Park on Sunday. COYS
