The March international break will soon be behind us and with the new White Hart Lane dominating the headlines since the weekend’s opening test event with Tottenham Hotspur fans in attendance, this coming weekend we can get back to proper football distractions as we travel to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side for the game at Anfield.
Sunday afternoon’s late Premier League kick-off is set to be an interesting affair, as although most will accept slim title hopes this year are now over given the points gap to our weekend’s opposition and Manchester City, Spurs can still have a fairly dramatic hand in deciding where the silverware goes.
It’s not just the battle for top spot though, with a one point advantage over locals Arsenal, and a three point gap to Manchester United, Pochettino will be determined to see us solidify ourselves in third place once again and hopefully, rebuild the points buffer we held until we hit a bit of wobbly form and results.
End the campaign strongly, take the WHL boost and then all eyes to the summer and the campaign of 2019/20.
