Match Thread – Spurs Looking To Sting The Hornets

|

With some FA Cup cheer for Tottenham Hotspur in our midweek replay encounter against Middlesbrough, this weekend sees us back in Premier League action as manager Jose Mourinho takes his side to Watford’s Vicarage Road.

In the more recent form guide, Watford have certainly shown a reaction to their earlier form and their 17th place position in the top flight table is slightly misleading. This is not going to be an easy game given our own deficiencies at the back and time will tell if we see anything of our new loan signing Gedson Fernandes following his arrival on Wednesday.

Fernandes’ arrival notwithstanding, unless I’ve missed anything we aren’t necessarily expecting anyone else back in contention for the game, but I don’t think we’ve added anyone new to our list of walking wounded, so it should be the same sort of side but you would hope Japhet Tanganga has certainly staked his claim to continue with his spot after his recent runouts.

What will be, will be.
