Match Thread – Spurs Can Make A Good Weekend Better When We Welcome Brighton

|

Saturday’s Premier League fixture against Manchester City proved to be a game too far for Tottenham Hotspur as we were narrowly beaten back at the Etihad, but given the Champions League affair with them, few Spurs fans will be overly concerned – especially as the other fixtures at the weekend went our way.

Everton hammered Manchester United and Arsenal slipped up against Crystal Palace, so manager Mauricio Pochettino saw us keep our small third place advantage as we continue our preparations for Tuesday evening’s clash with Brighton and Hove Albion.

Chris Hughton’s side will be fighting for their lives given how the table looks for them so it’s going to be a tough clash, and we’ll have to see if anything eases on the injury front when it comes to Poch’s selection options for the game.

But with the games running out, it remains in our hands and all three points would keep the momentum going, and we all know even with our injuries we have enough to take the win here, so it’s over to the players to do just that.
