After a disappointing scoreless draw with Watford at Vicarage Road last weekend, Tottenham Hotspur fans will have welcomed the clean sheet, but will be looking for manager Jose Mourinho to get back to winning ways as we welcomed Norwich City to White Hart Lane for our next Premier League clash.
Norwich are pretty sprightly on the attack with Todd Cantwell and Teemu Pukki and they can certainly cause us problems given our own defensive performances of late, but again on paper, this is a game the home faithful should be looking for three points from.
If only it was that easy though!
With a three point gap to Manchester United in fifth place and an additional five points to Chelsea in fourth, we need to start playing catch up pretty quickly if we are to still harbour Champions League aspirations for 2019/20, but the reality is it looks a long way off at this stage and with the January transfer window being predictably slow, we’ll hope to see a bit more of Gedson Fernandes in this one and another few arrivals to bolster our injury hit camp wouldn’t go amiss either.
