Match Thread – Can Spurs March On This Time As We Face The Saints Again

|

With Tottenham Hotspur securing their first win of 2020 as we welcomed Norwich City to White Hart Lane in our midweek clash, thoughts now turn to Saturday’s FA Cup fourth round clash with Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium.

Spurs fans will be expecting a few changes, but manager Jose Mourinho should certainly be starting a strong group, simply in the hope of some revenge over Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side following our New Year embarrassment, but more importantly really – from a confidence and momentum perspective.

With Southampton in better form now than they were at the turn of the year, the recent form guide would tip the odds in their favour, but you would imagine they will be more focused on league form as well as opposed to a Cup adventure, so that may play more to our advantage.

Whatever will be, will be, most fans will simply be hoping to see further improvement in our performance levels to give renewed hope for the remainder of the year.
