Tottenham fans will all be aware that Christian Eriksen is on his way out of the club, be it this summer or next, although according to AS his exit could come sooner, and cheaper, than you think.

The Spanish outlet are reporting that the Lilywhites will only ask for a paltry 50m euros for the player from Real Madrid for a transfer, or a slightly inflated 60m euros should he leave for Manchester United.

It makes sense for the club to be asking for more cash if they sell to Old Trafford, but the fee involved is still a pathetic one. The fans all know that their Danish magician is worth more than that, and you can understand their frustrations at the latest news.

You can read the Lilywhites’ verdict on the Eriksen price tag here…

The Lilywhites will be interested to see how the final days of the window play out, with Eriksen looking more and more likely to be leaving in the coming days.

  • Give Eriksen a deal that he feels he deserves, we need to keep our better players and add to them, not sell our better players, that’s not improving the squad. Sort your life out Levy and get out the Spurs cheque book or get Lewis to sell to someone who will invest. 2 Days.

  • £50m for Eriksen is the direct result of panic selling . Levy should not have put such an exorbitant high price tag from the beginning and perhaps could have sold him weeks ago for around £75m. Levy has a reputation of being a tough and shrewd negotiator but it seems he still needs to learn something from his counterpart at Man Utd if the latter manages to get a deal through for for a mere £50m.

    • Let him rot in the reserves. He’s not played for us since Xmas. Not as good as everyone seems to think otherwise he would have been gone by now!!!! Bench him and buy the other 2. That’s if Levy back offhis holiday and any of the paper talk is true.another summer of LEVY THE LET DOWN!!!

  • So the word according to AS is gospel is it? I really believe that some so called Spurs fans are getting just as pathetic and childish as the arseholes from the library.

  • He seems to have lost the desire to play at 100% for us (2 penalties missed!). Better to find a player who is actually committed to the team. Everyone is bending over backwards to accommodate him but he feels he needs to try elsewhere. Look at Son, look at Moura… that’s the attitude we need to support. We have a brilliant new stadium, great fans and a wonderful manager and team mates, what more could a player want..

  • So on the one hand, Eriksen’s not the player he was…is playing like he isn’t interested…and in any event is going next summer anyway.
On the other hand, he’s worth 90 mil ??? Don’t think so. Get shot of him asap and use the money to buy Lo Celso and a backup for Kane.
    End of.

  • Let him rot in reserves. Has not played any good for us since Xmas. If any of the talk is true gegt the other to in and bench him. If he was as good as everyone seems to think he is he would be long gone. If he’s worth another contract at 200k/week we better put Kane on same as Bale

  • I’ve been saying it since the world cup Erikson hasn’t been playing for Spurs as he did at the world cup . His body language on the ball hasn’t been his usual.
He was a liability at the champion league final. Had he put some effort like Hazard did for Chelsea, who knows what the end result would have been
He has orchestrated this move with his national team manager and he’ll end up at MU….

  • Another thought for you all to digest. Just as Spurs hold out for top dollar when selling any of their top stars, what makes any of you think that other clubs around the World don’t/wont do the same and make it as difficult as possible for buying clubs to get a foothold, namely Betis, Sporting Lisbon & Fulham respectively?
Each and every one of us want Levy (ENIC) to invest in players to strengthen our team in fact, everyone outside the club knows it too. At the same time, why should Spurs any longer potentially strengthen the opposition within our own league?
Who knows, maybe Eriksen may have a change of mind and extend his contract at Spurs. Now wont that cause a stir within the hen house.

  • I agree you dont sell a player of his calibre to your rivals sell to anyone abroad but 50 miles is cheap do wot all others doing now sell for 50 million plus 25 ADD ONS
