Madrid Need To Get Real With Fresh Eriksen Claims In The Press But Some Spurs Fans Disagree

|

With Tottenham Hotspur’s summer transfer rumour mill being largely endless when it comes to reported speculation about Real Madrid’s interest in Christian Eriksen, it is very much a case of every day brings a new claim or simply a complete rehash.

Having covered the speculation on here previously about swap deals with Gareth Bale or Luka Modric as a way through the deal, it’s certainly not the only novel suggestion that the rumour mill has come up with.

Back in May it was suggested that Dani Ceballos could be an option, and a recent claim from the Sun suggests they’ve finally caught up with this angle as they’ve claimed Real are preparing a £45million cash bid plus player swap.

I’m not quite sure how they’d know, but you don’t really put the Sun and accuracy in the same sentence do you?

With the story gaining some traction on social media, whilst some used it as another predictable reason to bash Daniel Levy, others thought that despite the presumed low price, there was merit in the suggestion.

Make that closer to £60million given their more recent dealings in the market and I could see it becoming a deal, assuming there’s any truth to the report of course.
