Levy might not be spending yet but he is continuing to put Tottenham in a solid financial position for years to come – Opinion

Tottenham Hotspur might not be spending the big money at the moment – let’s face it, that is something that is going to have to happen this summer – however, it seems they are raking in the finances.

According to a report by The Sun, Daniel Levy has been making Spurs more money by hiring out their state-of-the-art training complex to some of world football’s biggest national sides – having beat the St George’s complex that the England national side currently uses.

Whilst the cost of the stadium and the training facilities set us back a pretty penny, the club are starting to reap the rewards and it could prove to be a vital source of income over the years as other countries may look to go into a bidding war to use them.

So, what does that mean for us as a club? Well, Mauricio Pochettino *could* have more money available to spend on his transfer targets, which could then put us in a better position of competing for some of football’s big names.

However, those thoughts may just be a little on the hopeful side. Levy might want to use the money to reinvest in other areas of the club rather than add to the existing transfer budget he has already handy the Argentine this summer and in future.

All-in-all, it is definitely not a bad position for us to be in financially and will certainly provide us with an additional revenue stream for years to come and help put us in a solid position once he does decide to loosen the purse strings a little.
