Monday afternoon saw Tottenham Hotspur’s Lucas Moura given a well-timed boost – he has been called back into the Brazil national side as a replacement for injured Gremio attacker Everton.
🇧🇷⚡ Congratulations to @LucasMoura7 who has been included in Brazil's latest squad for their upcoming friendlies! 🙌#COYS pic.twitter.com/28edqBf8HU

With a solid start to life at the club in the 2018/19 season with three goals in eleven appearances so far following his £25million arrival back in the 2017/18 January window from Paris Saint-Germain whilst he can undoubtedly improve his goal return, his performance levels have begun really winning fans over.
Having more hit the ground running this year the 35 capped international will be boosted by the news and it should do wonders for his confidence as we know there’s more to come from him, we have to hope this helps that click and we see it when the international break is over and real football can return.

As much as I’m delighted for Lucas for a much deserved call-up to the Brazil squad it’s yet another player we have to keep an eye on with fear of picking up another injury.
However Moura’s worked so hard to get this chance & it just shows what a full pre-season has done for him.

Great news for the player and hopefully, as above, we’ll benefit from the confidence boost it brings but there are always concerns over potential injuries whilst away from the club and with Christian Eriksen out we certainly don’t need any unwanted or additional complications ahead of January given our quiet summer.
