“Let Him Go, Waste Of Space” – Latest Transfer Speculation Excites These Spurs Fans

|

With Tottenham Hotspur fans largely seemingly split when it comes to the relative merits of midfielder Moussa Sissoko, at the tail end of last week reports surfaced linking him with a possible transfer switch out to Turkish side Fenerbahce.

In fairness, I don’t think this speculation is actually that new, I’m sure Fenerbahce have been linked with him previously this summer, but just like on this occasion it was a throwaway piece of rumour mill speculation that appeared to have little to no substance behind it, so my guess is as we go into the final week of the European transfer window this has simply been rehashed and given a mild facelift.

It appears to have come from The Sun and hinges on Damien Comolli’s involvement with them.

Like every piece of speculation about the club though it’s a loan to buy deal and I’m convinced they’ve been linked with every professional football in the country this summer.

With Sissoko splitting fans with his performances, just as there are those who pray this is real, there are those who feel we should hold fire on any sales until January where we can reassess our own plans to strengthen.

I don’t think I’m overly bothered what happens here, but I think there’s more sense in keeping the group together when it comes to our seniors, if anything, get the youngsters out for half a season of better game time before looking to rely on them in the second half of the year.
