“Le Beast” “Highlight Of My Day” – These Spurs Fans Know 22 y/o’s Return Was A Welcome Sight Against Palace

|

With Tanguy Ndomble’s big money arrival from Lyon over the summer, after an incredibly long chase by Tottenham Hotspur, the 22-year-old French international had an almost immediate impact as he made his debut for the club in the 2019/20 Premier League opener with Aston Villa at White Hart Lane, and scored to get us back on level terms.

We went on to win the game as fans will know and he backed that up by registering his first assist in our 2-2 draw with Manchester City. He was laid low with a mild injury following that game, but following the September international break, he returned to the pitch last weekend as a late substitute as we took a storming 4-0 victory over Crystal Palace on home soil.

Whether we see slightly more of him on Wednesday evening when we face Olympiakos in our Group B Champions League clash remains to be seen, but Spurs fans on social media were certainly glad to see him back in the mix once more.
