Robbie Keane is set to have his medical at Liverpool next week according to the Daily Star.
Obviously a lot has already been said about this move and while it is still paper gossip I tend to just ignore it, however for the sake of reporting the facts as the red top has published here they are:
£18 million transfer fee
5 year contract at £90,000 a week
Now if these snippets are true it certainly isn’t difficult to understand Keano’s wishes to leave the Lane (if true).
A guaranteed £23.4 million for the Irish man over the next 5 years! Nice work if you can get it.
