Tottenham could be due for a summer of change in North London as Jose Mourinho looks to rectify the weaknesses that currently exist while exerting his own influence on the squad.
A key area the Portuguese has to focus on is our defence. Mauricio Pochettino once had the best defence in the league, conceding just 26 goals in 2016/17, but since then players have got older or left, and we’ve gone backwards.
Even Hugo Lloris has struggled this season. Injury has acted as a setback but he has also made two errors that have led to goals, which is unacceptable if we are aiming to qualify for the Champions League.
Would Nick Pope be a good addition?
Yes
No
In recent days the club has been linked with several goalkeepers, including Burnley shot-stopper and England international Nick Pope, who has made an impressive 11 clean sheets in 29 league games this campaign.
He also boasts a save percentage of 69% and that could be why many Spurs fans are excited by the transfer link, as there has been numerous praise of the 27-year-old in reaction to the transfer rumour.
Wouldn’t mind that

Would be a smart buy. Homegrown and quite decent for a backup.
