Flocking to team news ahead of Spurs’ first game of the restart against Manchester United, plenty of Lilywhites have fumed over the short list of absentees despite a three month lay-off – with Dele Alli and Japhet Tanganga set to not feature.
Alli has been suspended for one match after making a ‘racially insensitive joke’ surrounding the recent pandemic, meanwhile Tanganga is also set to miss the crunch clash against United with a back injury.
Giovani Lo Celso, as well as the two names above, appears allegedly ‘doubtful‘ to play against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side – prompting many Lilywhites to rage over the ‘absolute joke‘ injury news.
If Spurs manage to beat United, we could move within four points of a potential Champions League qualifying spot depending on other results.
As a result, supporters aren’t exactly happy we could be missing three assets as we gear up for our first game back since the Premier League’s postponement.
Here’s how they reacted down below.
