Spurs boss Martin Jol targets 4 wins from the remaining 5 matches.

Jol wants a top six finish to guarantee a UEFA Cup spot. To do that Jol wants to catch Everton who are currently sitting in fifth, five points clear of Spurs but have played one more game.

He told the Guardian: ‘I want to get the points on the board because we have to get near Everton… we want to be in the first six. To be in the top six, we need four wins out of five… It could go to the last game. A must win game for them (Everton) and a must-win game for us. That is England – every year.’

The battle for a UEFA Cup spot will undoubtedly heat up over the next few weeks. There are 3 places up for grabs with fifth to seventh qualifying for next seasons competition.

The battle for the three places looks set to be decided by five teams, with Everton and Bolton currently favourites.

Portsmouth, Tottenham and Reading will battle it out over the final place.

Surely we have to be seen as favourites to claim that final spot?
