Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting on Twitter to the news that we are thought to be close to sealing a deal for Dani Olmo this summer.

According to a report by Mucho Deporte, a deal worth around €25million (£22.5m) is thought to be close to completion for the Spain Under-21 international winger as an agreement has already been reached with his representatives.

Olmo, who currently plays in Croatia for Dinamo Zagreb, had an excellent tournament this summer and capped it off with a goal in the final as they lifted the trophy after they managed to overcome Germany.

According to his stats by WhoScored, the 21-year-old finished the competition with three goals and one assist, averaging a total of four shots per match, two key passes and a completion rate of 1.8 dribbles.

The Spaniard certainly looks to be an exciting prospect for the future and perhaps is the type of player that Mauricio Pochettino will thrive having in his team.

With the addition of Jack Clarke as well, it would seem as though the Argentine has really built his squad with Tottenham’s long-term goals in mind and that appears to have got a number of fans even more excited about the potential arrival of Olmo.

Many of them took to Twitter to share positive reactions to the news that we were chasing the 21-year-old’s signature this summer, with many of them believing he is a ‘baller’ and that it would be a ‘damn steal’ as Manchester United are also thought to be in the race for him (Sportske Novosti via Metro).

Here are just some of their reactions…
