It Must Be West Ham Next With This Staggering Claim About Spurs – Must Wish They Flatlined Like This

|

Far from being controversial or putting the cat amongst the pigeons, I actually find this incredibly funny – West Ham United’s vice something or other, Karren Brady, has claimed recently that manager Mauricio Pochettino’s side are ‘flatlining’ at the minute, but of course, she backs him to respond and kick on once more at Tottenham Hotspur.

Writing in her column for the Sun it was almost an ‘Apprentice’ like challenge as somebody tasked her with wibbling about what makes the greatest Premier League manager.

Her grand idea in coverage was to say there’s no such thing, and she went on to pick out key characteristics of other top-flight gaffers and Poch featured in that under the tagline ‘Common Sense’.

“THE Spurs boss always talks it. He’s certainly no bragging ’Arry. His team are flatlining a little but he’ll correct that, I’m sure, and do so without fuss, believing that ultimately entertaining football will reap trophies.”

Who’d have thought with such a barb that we were playing them next eh! This is almost as delusional as Mark Noble’s claim that both sides have had similar starts to the current campaign despite them sitting half a Premier League away from us.

If ‘flatlining’ is sitting in fifth place in the Premier League table with six wins out of eight games and only two points behind the current table toppers, I might have to reassess my understanding of medical terms – especially as we’ve won the last three on the trot and not exactly been great in the process.

Maybe she got confused, and was talking about her own team with only two wins in eight and only one win in the last three, despite their spending over the summer?

I suppose it takes all sorts.
