Inter Wide Man Reportedly Still On Spurs Radar Despite Contract Extension

|

Inter Milan winger Antonio Candreva has signed a one-year contract extension with the Serie A club, but the Italian international could still leave the San Siro, according to TMW.

We are reportedly keeping an eye on the 31-year-old’s situation as the Nerazzurri weigh up who to sell to keep within UEFA’s Financial Fair Play rules.

The Italian website believe that either Candreva or youngster Yann Karamoh will have to be offloaded to balance the books, but the club hasn’t decided which one to let go yet.

Mauricio Pochettino is said to be looking for another wide player, with Anthony Martial, Wilfried Zaha, Xherdan Shaqiri and MalcomĀ just some of the names that have been linked with us already this summer.

Candreva’s name hasn’t been mentioned as a possible signing before. He was linked with Chelsea last year, and if he is a target, I think he’s probably quite a way down the list of options, mostly due to his age.

The Italian had an average season for Inter last campaign, making 36 league appearances, scoring no goals and providing eight assists.
