Tottenham Hotspur take to the San Siro pitch later tonight as we open up our 2018/19 Champions League campaign against Inter Milan.
The preparation for the game hasn’t been what anyone would’ve wanted given our back to back Premier League defeats to Liverpool and Watford and although a number of fans have concerns at the lack of sharpness being shown at points, Harry Kane stands out for many.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino has already said he won’t be rested tonight so fans will be hoping a change of competition sees us get back to winning ways and the players can take a good boost of confidence again.
If we play like Saturday we won’t even get out of the group.

Any chance you could motivate the players to put an actual shift in and look like they care?! Cheers….

As the above Tweets on social media imply, plenty are fearing the worst and after recent showings that’s understandable. I think the group of players will be out to prove a point though and get back to the earlier optimism levels that saw some getting carried away.
It’s hardly make or break though this early on in the season and having seen some comments debating the future of Poch following the defeats, a good solid win would help plenty draw a line and move on.
