If you`re not nice to me, I`ll have a tantrum, again.

Oooooh, I started all this, I will not apologise. But be nice to me or I`ll cry.

The massed ranks of the press get it, Danny still doesn`t.

His brain or his advisors (take your pick which one has more intellectual capacity) can`t compute; He made himself prime box office column inch material and that won`t end until he either puts an end to the daily speculation about what future colour top he wants to sport; or he ends his genius personal insights to the press (which he won`t) or he simply just stops talking to everyone and their dog and concentrates on playing well, something we all know he can do.

For the record, I now think that he is acting like the spoilt little kid in the playground who wants to play, make the rules and take his ball home if he is losing, and then wonders why he has no friends left.

His puerile nonsense might still be sucked up by the gullible and all those who think he`s a misunderstood nice boy who really isn`t about how much money he can grab, are in for a shock come the summer, or before.

He started all this nonsense by his ill-advised outburst, driven, apparently, by a mental aberration brought on by his long non-playing absence, although it could also have been about preparing his exit and making himself appear as obnoxious as possible to avoid having to give up money by putting in a formal transfer request; you decide which.

Spending all that time counting his income whilst doing nothing appears to have made him realise that he was wholly underpaid and being taken advantage of and is worth much much more, go figure?

Of course all thoughts of rocking the harmony of the team and the club, let alone the supporters seem to have passed his thought processes by, but why should he care?

Read back his words to him after he signed his contract extension and you can`t help at getting embarrassed for him, even if he could come up with some more nonsense to try and justify it away.

The irony of his original timing seems to have flown over his head, and not least the irony of bemoaning his pay after his agent had just renegotiated a new deal for him.

Or (and far more likely) he fell over a Red Topped tap tap tap and a long misty fog that clouded his judgement suddenly lifted?

Later choose to tell the World he was ‘fuming`, only to then admit Poch was right not playing him. This boys genius off the pitch is truely inspiring, I mean underwhelming.

If ever anyone needed to be told to keep their thoughts to themselves and advised to get their lips hermitically sealed, then Danny is the Diva of the Damned Master Debaters.

Compared to Walkers self-interest undermining the team three months before the end of the last season and Danny`s behaviour looks positively Machiavellian.

Any day now I expect to read about him claiming that he’s a victim and being misunderstood. But who knows maybe his counselling sessions will work before then and he`ll suck it up and shut it?

Probably just before he leaves.

The last word must of course go to Danny as told to Sky Sports;

“This is getting silly now,” Rose told Sky Sports.

“For the last three-and-a-half years, four years, the manager has been my biggest fan. He`s given me nothing but love and respect.

“There is no issue, there never will be an issue. People need to stop this, because it`s not welcomed.”

We know Danny, we ALL know it’s not welcomed, so why not show some professionalism and stop feeding them?
