Spurs Word On The Tweet

‘I want him now’ – These Tottenham fans tell Levy to sign €80m ace after witnessing video

Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked with a move for Tanguy Ndombele and fans have taken to Twitter to express their desire for a move to happen.

Le10Sport claimed recently that Spurs had forwarded an official transfer offer for the Olympique de Lyonnais man, however, that was rejected as the French outfit are thought to be holding out for the €80million (£70.8m) valuation they have set for him.

But, after the Twitter account Last Word On Spurs shared a video from Football Daily showing the 22-year-old midfielder training alongside his France teammates, the excitement and desire for the club to sign him has continued to grow.

He was shown playing a defence-splitting through ball to his Lyon teammate Leo Dubois, who managed to put the ball beyond the goalkeeper and into the back of the net.

We could certainly do with adding a player of Ndombele’s ability in the middle of the park and if he could provide us with those killer passes as well, then we would be in a great position to move forward.

With all the talk surrounding Christian Eriksen and his future at the club, we are going to need all the extra creativity in the side we can get if the Dane leaves.

The 22-year-old would also have to be considered a huge upgrade on the players we already have available in the same position and would, perhaps, become the man to become the key cog in our engine room.

A number of fans who saw the pass jumped to Twitter to tell Daniel Levy, in no uncertain terms. that he needs to pay whatever is needed in order to sign him, whilst another admitted he had to be the club’s priority this summer and no-one else mattered.

Here are some of their reactions…
