The weekend’s clash at Wembley Stadium as Tottenham Hotspur hosted Burnley was one thing, but the clear highlight of last week was taking a point from Barcelona to book our place in the next round of the 2018/19 Champions League competition.
With a poor start to our European adventure this season, Spurs turned it around and only needed to match Inter Milan’s result last Tuesday and we did that as Harry Kane setup Lucas Moura to level the scores with only minutes remaining in the tie at the Nou Camp.
The more optimistic fan will say with the chances we had, we should’ve taken all three points in reality.
In the build-up to Saturday’s tie against Burnley, the Spurs’ social media team released a short video clip from our midweek action and I’m not sure words can do it justice (but I do have a word count to reach).
