It’s pretty rare when the second half of a NLD turns out to be a relaxing watch for supporters. Nice one Cyril!

I’m pleased that arsenal players got what they deserved in first half… no.16 in particular. They tried to bully sonny and spurs but we held our cool and formation to win. Conte was quiet after his yellow card… but revived in 2nd half 🙂 COYS

After the red card 3 points were bagged, pity only 2 goals since 33rd min, expect to really hit them for 6 wasn’t to be. Relying on other teams now if we can beat Burnley. Great fantastic atmosphere from the fans.

There’s two ways of looking at the situation. On the one hand the gap in quality between ourselves and Arsenal was pretty clear, 3-0 was by no means a flattering score line. On the other we are still a point behind. Which tells you just how many points we’ve thrown away this season. Whether we can rescue this season is out of our hands. Going forward, if Conte is still there next year I’d expect a much more consistent level of performance. Maybe a second positive in we saw just what an atmosphere can be created at the stadium, there will be games against better opponents where that may be the difference.

My mom was Hoj, simple as that.

We watched a very well disciplined game by the mighty Spurs last night, plus total management in the 2nd half, keeping fit for the short turnaround game on Sunday.

What an atmosphere! you who attended, what was it like live? it sounded great/excellent on the TV.

Now you Geordies, no1 rule, do not lose your last game at home, your fans will not forgive you, mind nor will we lol! COYS

    Hi Jod
Whilst I agree that we have thrown away too many points this season.
I will argue, and I think the stats back me up, that since January we are actually in the top 3 for both points and goals scored.
So as you say, if, Conte stays with us, then, given he is, awarded the correct transfer fees to sign the proper players and get the dross out, then I can only see progress for next season.
I feel we have become a smarter, fitter, harder team since Conte has, arrived.
Given the resources and indeed the chance at CL football, we could and should be able to add to our squad with quality, “next level” players.
BTW I don’t give a fek where the funds come from, as long as theyre there, I’m not a finance analyst. 😉

Rumour mill…Conte to sign 2 year contract, hope its true. COYS
