Huddersfield Wasn’t Pretty But It’s Another Three Points For Spurs

|

Tottenham Hotspur headed to the John Smith’s Stadium to face off against David Wagner’s Huddersfield Town side earlier today, and Spurs came out of the tie with all three points courtesy of a Harry Kane brace.

The match would certainly been a confidence booster to our England man given the recent games without a goal and the ongoing discussion about his sharpness and the victory does move us into fourth place in the table so Mauricio Pochettino will undoubtedly be happy with our day’s work.

Huddersfield made us work but didn’t exactly make life difficult, I for one had expected more from them, but with Barcelona up in the next Champions League tie in midweek, being able to give an extended rest to a few players with our substitutions should definitely be considered a positive – especially as it didn’t risk this result.

Onwards and upwards now and let’s see how we do against the Spanish giants.
