We have been here before, in buying a great young prospect. But will Dele Alli be different?
Personally, I am quite excited at his signing, but at the same time, I`m not looking for too much from him for 18 months and anything can happen in that time. It is suggested that he has a great attitude and works really hard on his game, which bodes well, while I also guess that he wouldn`t have returned to MK Dons if they or spurs didn`t feel he would keep working hard and performing.
I can see that he will return in the summer and work with the first team, before a decision is made for next season. Would he benefit from a season in the Championship to work on his game and gain experience or is he that good that Poch see`s him as an instant (ish) Prem player for Spurs?..
