“He’s Going To Force Their Hand At Some Point” – Pundit Makes Expected Spurs Prediction

|

With the summer transfer rumour mill in full flow at Tottenham Hotspur as we turn our attentions from the Champions League Final towards hopefully kicking on further next season under manager Mauricio Pochettino, it was probably only a matter of time before the future of Harry Kane cycled around again.

Having been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane previously with the expected Real Madrid reference, it seems unlikely stories centering on them will gain much traction after their capture of Luka Jovic, but it hasn’t stopped pundits from purely speculating to fill airtime.

One such pundit, ESPN’s Craig Burley via the Express, has recently suggested that he feels Kane’s future will ultimately be decided by what Pochettino decides to do given the bond they have at the club and whilst he categorically ruled out a departure this summer, he named next year as the time fans should be concerned about.

“I can see Harry Kane going but not this summer. I think depending on what happens with Pochettino will have a big bearing. Harry Kane will leave Tottenham, I’ll be surprised if that doesn’t happen, for big money. But I think another full season or thereabouts and full season fit and then Tottenham at some point will have to cash in. He’s going to force their hand at some point.”

Don’t we get the same every year. It may happen, it might not. Kane enjoys himself here, he’s long on his way to being an utter legend and he’s one of the first names on the team sheet.

Nobody can second guess the future.
